Rhyme Time

I’ve long believed poems that rhyme would NEVER become a rarity in the literary world as it evolved because let’s face it - they’re entertaining!

But, it seems to me that’s exactly what has happened: Rhyming is dying. Let’s see if we can resurrect it. Let me know how you feel about rhyme in general, and more specifically poems like this;

beyond those “happy times”
within our short-lived past
above dawn’s laughing sighs
where firsts turned into lasts
around this shadowed corner
of what is yet to come,
exists my world of warmth turned cold -
where two has turned to one…
