Of broken dreams (they knew I cared)
Has led me to a book I wrote
Of Priceless lyric - and soundless notes…
I served the Armed Forces in Vietnam, and left a little of my soul there. From those experiences, the experiences of not having --not having safety, of not having loved ones, not having joy -- gave birth to my first collection of poems The Other Side of Having. I continue my work by giving hope to veterans by giving their sorrow and loss words. Check back often for new poems, updates, appearance schedules, and news on veteran's affairs.
